American hipster

Who else is obsessed (to put it mildly), besides Christian Bale? This ad is a great hipster take on the famous business card scene from American Psycho. Apparently, director Hugo Keijzer, from London creative agency Flickering Wall, took inspiration from the client itself:

“When I first heard Jason Denham talk about jeans it reminded me of the film’s legendary business-card scene. I recognized the same manic attention to detail and ravenous appetite for craftsmanship. This triggered the idea for a modern-day remake of the scene.”

This is what I enjoy about branding and advertising – it’s learning, using, and making culture. Not to mention the epic facial hair involved. Well played, Denham Jeans, well played.
